The Center for Therapy works in close coordination with our Special Education, Home Management, and Outreach Programs to provide a wide range of rehabilitative and therapeutic services for children and young adults with multiple disabilities.

Our therapies are designed to improve mobility, communication, independence, and quality of life, ensuring every child receives holistic support. The services we provide include:

Physiotherapy

Our Physiotherapy unit focuses on restoring functional abilities and enhancing movement for children with multiple disabilities.ification and timely support across five major developmental areas.

- Individual, group, and family sessions are provided.
- Goals include strengthening motor skills, improving posture, and promoting mobility.
- Therapists work collaboratively with Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy specialists to ensure an integrated approach.
- The unit also serves as a clinical training center for physiotherapy students and organizes skill development workshops for continuous professional growth.

Aquatic Therapy

Our specialized therapy pool, designed for children with disabilities, offers a safe and engaging environment where water-based exercises help:

- Improve balance and coordination
- Reduce muscle stiffness
- Enhance overall mobility and relaxation

Aquatic therapy is a highly motivating and enjoyable form of rehabilitation that encourages participation while delivering significant therapeutic benefits.

Occupational Therapy

The Occupational Therapy unit helps children gain independence in daily living activities through:

- Sensory integration sessions
- Early intervention programs
- Skill development activities (feeding, dressing, mobility)
- Evaluation and recommendation of assistive devices and postural aids

We also collaborate with international institutions to provide training and internship opportunities, ensuring our practices are always updated with global standards.

Sensory Integration Therapy

Children with developmental conditions, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, often face sensory challenges. Our Sensory Integration unit provides:

- Individual, group, and classroom sessions
- A structured environment to balance sensory input and responses
- Programs that enhance motor planning, attention, and adaptive behavior.

This therapy helps children better process sensory information, improving both learning outcomes and everyday functioning.

Equine Therapy

In collaboration with specialized partners, we provide Equine Therapy—a unique approach that uses the movement of a horse to stimulate motor and sensory development.

- Improves balance, coordination, and core strength
- Enhances sensory processing
- Promotes confidence, emotional regulation, and social interaction

By combining physical therapy with a multi-sensory experience, equine therapy helps children generalize their skills for real-life activities.

Speech Therapy

Our Speech Therapy department works closely with all our educational and therapy units to address speech, language, and communication difficulties.

- Interventions for disarticulation, stammering, voice disorders, and feeding/oral-motor challenges
- Customized therapy plans for each child
- Parent training and counseling for home-based support

Through consistent therapy, children gain the ability to express themselves effectively, improving both academic learning and social participation.
